Automotive Seating

Textile components in automotive seating — including seat covers, bolsters, inserts, and back panels — must meet rigorous standards for precision, durability, and visual consistency. These parts are typically manufactured from flat-cut fabric or synthetic layers that are stitched, reinforced, and shaped before final assembly. In high-volume production, even minor inconsistencies can cause fitment issues, rework, or downstream bottlenecks.
FASTSEWN automates the flat-panel sewing and cutting process with CNC-level control over stitching paths, seam geometry, and cut shapes. The system handles 1–3 layers of fabric or synthetic material, sewing in any direction—including curves, contours, and decorative patterns—with variable stitch lengths and repeatable accuracy. Materials are fed directly from roll stock, sewn and laser- or knife-cut to final shapes in the same pass, without manual handling.

THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Reasons to choose FASTSEWN

FASTSEWN integrates easily into existing production by adding a new automated station that combines cutting and sewing in one step. Instead of needing separate cutting tables and manual stitching, FASTSEWN handles both tasks in a single pass. This streamlines production, saves floor space, and reduces handling between steps.
