The Role

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer to join our team and help us succeed with our next-generation machine. You will be responsible for programming and configuring a Trio Flex-7 Motion PLC to control complex motion systems. While prior experience with Trio is not required, a strong foundation in kinematics, physics, mathematics, and structured coding practices is essential.

Because we are a startup, you will have the opportunity to take on responsibility quickly, influence key decisions, and grow with the company as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement motion control programs for the Trio Flex-7 PLC.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate motion systems.
• Apply knowledge of kinematics and physics to optimize machine performance.
• Ensure code quality through structured programming and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members in English (Danish is a plus).

Requirements

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of kinematics, physics, mathematics, and motion control principles.

• Proficient in structured programming approaches.

• Excellent communication skills in English; Danish is an advantage but not required.
• Passion for technology and innovation.

• Knowledge of CNC cutting systems or sewing is an advantage but not a requirement.

(Experience with Trio Flex-7 is not required we’ll help you learn!)
